Software and Robotics Support Engineer

We are looking for a Support Engineer to help maintain and improve our reputation for providing top-notch technical support. Technical support engineers are very important at Formulatrix as they play a key role ensuring that our customers are delighted with our products. This includes providing excellent support, driving the organization to resolve issues quickly, and gathering and communicating customer feedback for product enhancements.

Qualifications
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Strong technical ability with software, electronics, and mechanical devices.
- Demonstrated team player with ability to learn complex technical material.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Life sciences experience a plus.

Essential duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all Formulatrix product offerings.
- Go on customer sites to do product installation, custom integration, testing and training.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
- Work to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
- Prepare for in-house and on-site sales demos.
- Travel time: 50%

Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a creative, motivated individual with mechanical engineering experience to join our talented team in an exciting startup-like atmosphere. All candidates must have a mechanical engineering degree (or similar) with design experience in SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer. Experience or education in optics design and microscopy is a plus, but not required. The small size of our company provides a great deal of opportunity for multidisciplinary work; other engineering experience - especially electrical - is also a plus.  The right applicant with the talent, interest, and organizational skill could also have the opportunity to lead the hardware team.

Outside sales person
 We are seeking an outside sales person with a friendly personality and strong computer skills. The individual will have the following responsibilities:

• Learn about the new products at Formulatrix and give on-site demos to customers.
• Identify and qualify leads by doing research and then cold calling. This would be for the entire US.
  
• Travel to different customer sites to give demos and follow up afterwards. You should be willing to travel extensively.
  

We are not looking for someone with tons of experience. We will provide training to the right person. We are looking for someone who is technical, has good computer skills and is willing to work hard.
