FRAP

Overview

FRAP (Flourescent Recovery After Photobleaching) allows you to measure membrane protein mobility in lipids. This versatile instrument can take visible and flourescent images and perform FRAP on LCP plates. It has been developed in collaboration with the Cherezov Lab at Scripps Institute.

    Determine :
Identify protein mobilitiy/diffusion in lipids (LCP).
    High Throughput :
Mobile fraction measurement of 96 wells in under 45 minutes, 2 plate capacity.
    Integrated :
Also takes visible and flourescent images of your LCP plates*
FRAP can be added to a Rock Imager 1000

Experiment design and result viewing can all be done through Rock Maker.
    Zoom :
Compound zoom optics of 1.1x and 5.5x objectives.
