Overview

Rock Imager is an automated imaging system for protein crystallization. This robust, easy-to-use solution incubates and captures superior quality images of up to 1000 microplates on a user-defined schedule. Load your plates and go.

Highest Image Quality :

Automatically images plates on user-defined schedules.

Temperature Regulation :
Peltier heat exchanger regulates temperature to +/-0.5°C with a range of 5°C below or 7°C above room temperature. An optional redundant compressor cooling system can regulate the internal temperature to 4°C with 1°C precision (Rock Imager 1000 only).

Lipidic Cubic Phase (LCP) Compatible :
All systems can support LCP (or membrane crystallization) imaging with standard microplate heights. The RI1000 can also support up to 1500 of the thin-based LCP plates with an optional storage rack modification. LCP-FRAP will also be available as an upgrade to Rock Imager 250 to 1000 allowing the system to do tagged protein fluorescent imaging in addition to FRAP.

Flexible :
All Rock Imagers are compatible with SBS and Microbatch plates. Options for Linbro and Qiagen EasyXtal plate compatibility are available.

Seamless Integration :
Designed to fit your work-flow, Rock Imager integrates with Rock Maker or your current crystallization software.
