The NT8 is a fast and precise automated nanoliter dispenser.

The NT8 has two plate positions on the deck for both a microplate and a hanging drop cover sheet.
The tips used for aspirating and dispensing can all be washed and reused for future use.

The tip caddy holds up to 384 replacement tips for the system.
(1) Microplate Stations: On the deck of the NT8 there is room for two SBS footprint microplates. Two microplates can be placed on the deck to transfer reagents from one plate to the next. A hanging drop cover sheet can be place on one station for setting hanging drops.
(2) Protein Tray: The protein tray has twenty-four (3 columns of 8) protein reservoirs each able to hold 3µL of solution. This configuration allows for fast drop dispensing to reduce drop evaporation and provides the user a variety of protein formulations to dispense.
(3) Wash Station: As stated previously, the low volume pipette tips can be washed at the wash station if the user wishes to conserve tips for reuse. The wash station washes all eight tips at the same time to reduce the wash time down to 5 seconds.
(4) Tip Caddy: The tip caddy holds up to 384 replacement tips for the system. The replacement tips come pre-filled on.
(5) Waste Tip Hopper: The waste tip hopper is a separate bin for any unwanted tips.
