LCP Head Attachment
An LCP dispensing attachment is available for the NT8, and is able to dispense LCP drops of 25-200µL. The dispenser takes an 8mm barrel syringe, and a sensor ensures the syringe is properly mounted before dispensing. It dispenses a full, 96-drop LCP plate in less than 5 minutes, including both the lipid drop setting and the well solution drop setting.
LCP Mixer
The LCP dispensing option also includes a lipid mixer which attaches to the deck of the system. The mixer is controlled by software to guarantee that the right number of mixing cycles are applied to the lipid syringe.
LCP Auto Calibration
The LCP option includes a fully automatic calibration system for the lipid syringe. It ensures the syringe tip is centered to within 50 µm or less.
